instrument is in a confined space, such as in the soft case.

Understanding the Front Panel

The SCOPE and METER buttons select the operating mode. The front panel has

additional buttons for the functions you use most often and menus to access the

more specialized functions.

Press the front-panel SCOPE button to enter scope mode. Then, press AUTO-

RANGE to set the vertical, horizontal, and trigger automatically for a usable

display. A typical scope-mode display is shown in Figure 2–3.
